Commoncoding Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") values the personal information of our customers. The Company complies with all relevant laws including the 'Personal Information Protection Act' and the 'Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.', and is doing its utmost to ensure that the personal information of members is protected. Through this privacy policy, we inform you about how the personal information provided by the user is used, how it is managed to protect personal information, and the purpose of its use.

2. Purpose of Personal Information Use

We only use your valuable personal information for the following purposes. If the purpose changes, we will seek your consent in advance.
1. To provide various services (apps, newsletters, and future new services), handle inquiries or complaints during service use, and deliver announcements.
2. It's also used for delivering information about new service developments or events, and for tailored service offerings, marketing, and advertising.
3. It's used for custom service provision, new service development references, usage pattern and access frequency analysis, and service use statistics. Also, we use your personal information only during the service provision period from the time of registration. If a user requests to withdraw membership, withdraws consent for the collection and use of personal information, or when the purpose of collection and use is achieved or the retention and use period ends, the user's personal information is destroyed immediately.
4. The Google 2FA authentication code is used to enhance the security of the user's account. This protects important information of the user and prevents unauthorized access or usage by others.


3. Consent to Personal Information Collection

1. The company provides a procedure where you can select whether to agree with the contents of the personal information protection policy or terms of service through the 'Agree' button. Selecting the 'Agree' button means that the personal information you entered is stored in our customer DB and is considered to be used appropriately for the purposes stated above.
2. Even when obtaining consent for personal information collection through third parties or affiliates, a procedure will be provided where you can select whether to agree with the contents of the personal information protection policy or terms of service through the 'Agree' button. Selecting the 'Agree' button is considered equivalent to giving consent.


4. Delegation of Personal Information Handling

For the enhancement of our services, we delegate the handling of personal information as described below. In compliance with relevant laws, we regulate necessary matters to ensure that personal information is managed safely when entering a delegation agreement. Should the content of the delegated tasks or the trustee change, we will immediately disclose this through this personal information processing policy. The organizations and content of personal information handling we delegate are as follows:
1. Trustee companies: Amazon Web Services, Google Analytics, Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) - Transfer method and timing: Transferred via network at the time of service use - Items of use: User ID, device information, OS information, app version info, visit date and time, service usage records, etc. - Purpose: App usage status analysis, push message dispatch, abnormal termination logs, and other app performance data collection and analysis - Duration of use: Until member withdrawal or end of the delegation contract.


5. Personal Information Destruction Procedure and Method

Except for cases where we are legally obliged to retain personal information for a certain period, it is our principle to destroy the information immediately once the purpose of collecting and using personal information has been achieved or when membership is withdrawn. Our personal information destruction procedure and method are as follows:
1. Destruction procedure - The information you entered for registration or similar purposes is transferred to a separate DB (for paper, a separate document box) after the purpose has been achieved, and is destroyed after being stored for a certain period according to internal policies and other related laws (refer to retention and use period). This personal information is not used for any purpose other than legally mandated ones.
2. Destruction method - Personal information printed on paper is destroyed through shredding or incineration. Personal information saved in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make its regeneration impossible.


6. User's Rights and Obligations

  3. 3. Membership termination and personal information deletion can be directly done in the app > My Information.

  5. 5. If you request the correction of errors in personal information, we will not use or provide the personal information until the correction is completed. If incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, we will notify the third party without delay to make corrections.

2. User's Obligations

  1. 1. We ask users to input their personal information accurately and keep it up to date to prevent unforeseen accidents. Users are responsible for any incidents caused by the incorrect information they've entered. Using someone else's information or entering false information may lead to the loss of membership.

  2. 2. Users have the responsibility to protect themselves and not infringe on others' information. Please be cautious not to leak personal information, including passwords, and refrain from damaging others' personal information and posts.

  3. 3. Failure to fulfill this responsibility and damaging the information and dignity of others may result in penalties under laws such as the "Information and Communication Network Promotion and Information Protection Act".

The company regards users' personal information as its most valuable asset and is making the following efforts in handling it.
1. We encrypt users' personal information.
2. We strive to protect against hacking or computer viruses.
3. We minimize the number of people who can access valuable personal information.
4. We regularly conduct education for employees on the protection of users' personal information.

9. Additional Policies
